Dell XPS 13

Dell’s flagship is back, and this year is a return to form for the Dell XPS 13. This leading laptop has finally addressed its most glaring design flaw, the webcam, while making the battery life last much longer.

But, beyond the webcam and battery, the Dell XPS 13 largely remains the same, continuing the lineage of one of the best laptops in the world. However, this new XPS 13 is in the middle of a high-end laptop scene that’s changed a lot in the last year. So, especially in the face of Asus and Huawei’s rapid rise, the XPS 13’s place at the podium has shifted, if only slightly.

The Dell XPS 13 was already a great laptop and Dell has made some welcome improvements to remain a great ultraportable laptop overall. The addition of Intel Whiskey Lake cements the XPS 13’s status as a mobile powerhouse. And when you’re not crunching the numbers, that vivacious 4K display is perfect for watching video.

While the battery life on the 4K display model could be better, the Dell XPS 13 continues to be a great pick.
