Moto G7 Plus Review

Good
Extremely fast charging
Still has a headphone jack
Good value for money

Bad
Battery drains with intensive use
LCD screen not as colorful

Motorola has not altered its strategy much with the new Moto G7 range. The software is clean, the hardware tasteful and the prices cover a broad range of budgets.

Compared to the Moto G7, the Plus offers more dynamic-looking finishes, more power and a better selfie camera, which is more than enough to justify the extra cost.

The Moto G7 Power and Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite are two more interesting alternatives, though. If you treat a phone like a tool and don’t need a higher-end camera, the benefits of the Power’s ultra-long battery life are big.

The Moto G7 Plus is another extremely accomplished smartphone at its price point, offering plenty of features and a slick user experience.

The camera is the major improvement over the G6 Plus, offering up higher quality shots and a wider variety of modes for you to enjoy.

The additional power over the rest of the range also makes the G7 Plus a better gaming machine, and intensive titles such as PUBG and Fortnite are playable – however if gaming is less of a priority for you, the cheaper Moto G7 offers slightly better value for money.

The Moto G7 Plus is perfect for anyone looking for an accomplished Android smartphone that will run most apps, without breaking the bank.
