The OnePlus 7T is quite the upgrade over the standard OnePlus 7, sporting a larger 6.55in display, a bigger battery, improved camera setup and 30W fast charging support. The design is subtle but eye-catching, enhanced by the fourth-gen frosted matte glass finish. But while it’s an incredible bit of kit, a handful of bugs and the odd feature omissions stop it from being the ultimate smartphone in 2019.
The new phone was just introduced at an event in India where the company also unveiled the OnePlus TV.
Coming so soon after the OnePlus 7, we’re not expecting many massive changes for the new handset but we’re listing everything that has changed below. This is a breaking story, so bear with us as we update with new information.
According to OnePlus “we’re not done yet with more products set to be revealed at the European launch on 10th October”. This event is happening in London so stay tuned then to see if this new product to be the OnePlus 7T Pro.
Both the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro are rumoured to feature a Qualcomm-made Snapdragon 855+ CPU, 8GB of RAM and tri-camera on the rear (48MP + 16MP + 8MP). Although, the Pro model is said to have a larger display and a bigger battery.
It’s also tipped to look a bit different, sporting a motorised pop-up front-facing camera in lieu of a notch and a periscope-style camera on the rear. Whereas, the OnePlus 7T should come with a circular camera setup and a notch-clad screen.
