Bad

battery life

Chuwi AeroBook is available in crowdfunding on Indiegogo, at a price of $399 for the 8/128 GB model. If you need more storage space, the device is also present in the 256GB and 1TB variants at $429 and $699 respectively.

The Chuwi Aerobook is a Windows 10 Core M3-6Y30 laptop with 8GB of RAM, it has 128GB to 1TB SATA3 SSDs for storage. 38Wh battery is good for 5-6 hours and two USB 3.0 ports. The screen is a 13.3″ full laminated 380nit 1080p IPS panel. There is a USB 3.1 Type-C Gen1 port for charging, data and video out. The keyboard is backlit and it has a large Windows precision driver controlled touchpad.

Battery life, however, is just bad. The 5,000 mAh cell can only power the laptop for about six hours of normal productivity use (sending emails, surfing the web, writing Word documents).  I can forgive this if the laptop used USB-C for power delivery, since these cables are near ubiquitous now. But the need to carry Chuwi’s own charging brick around is almost a dealbreaker for me.

The CHUWI Aerobook Laptop is a device you won’t regret purchasing, It would surely be a very good buy.
