Microsoft didn’t give us many new details about its Project xCloud game streaming service at E3, but at least we know when it’s going to arrive. Microsoft confirmed October during its Xbox E3 2019 press conference today, but didn’t share many more details about the platform.
As you’d expect, the service will let you play Xbox titles across multiple devices. Since it’s only streaming video, like Google’s Stadia, you can expect to access the service on things like phones, tablets, TVs and computers. But that’s not all: Microsoft also announced that you’ll be able to stream games directly from your own Xbox console, instead of its servers.

There Microsoft’s Xbox press conference contained a lot of other big news like the official reveal of the From Software and George RR Martin collaboration game Elden Ring, and details on the next Xbox called still under the name Project Scarlett which is the most powerful console that Microsoft has ever designed coming in 2020.
