Apple iCloud and store systems are down for some users

Apple is experiencing issues with most of its iCloud services today. Users are having trouble signing into iCloud and accessing their accounts, along with Photos, Mail, Backup, Find My Friends, Contacts, Calendars, and more seeing downtime. Apple Stores are also reportedly affected by the outage and not currently able to process transactions.

Apple’s Systems Status page reports that iCloud’s Calendars, Contacts, and Reminders are currently affected by the ongoing outage, and that some users might have issues. The company says that issues affecting Apple Pay, Documents, Find my Friends, Find My iPhone, Game Center, iCloud Sign In, and other services have since been resolved.

Many users have shared the issues with iCloud today on Twitter. Almost every iCloud service is currently labeled with the issue “Users may be experiencing a problem with this service.”

Because of how widespread the issues are across Apple’s services, many applications will be affected, including developer tools and third-party apps.

It’s the second outage for the company this year, and comes a day after a day-long outage that affected several Facebook services and also whatsapp, Instagram and just the other day cloudflare.
