The Huawei P30 Pro is a flagship smartphone that comes with robust configuration and ample battery backup. The major highlight here is the camera department which features triple set at the rear end and a high-resolution lens at the front. Both the cameras would produce an amazing photography experience. The storage is also huge to fulfill the user’s storage needs. Overall, it presents a strong spec-sheet that would be appreciated by all the Huawei fans.

Huawei’s P30 Pro is the first phone to feature a 5X optical zoom capability, thanks to a cleverly engineered periscopic lens system that uses a prism to direct light through the required optics without making this phone unreasonably thick. In terms of camera features and capabilities, the P30 Pro is a compelling alternative to heavyweights from Apple, Samsung and Google. That isn’t this phone’s only appeal either it has a total of four rear cameras including a Time-of-Flight 3D depth sensor and an ultra-wide-angle camera. It also boasts of incredible low-light capabilities through the primary camera.

There are two colour options, both of which are attention-grabbing and feature bright swirly gradients. You get a 4200mAh battery, 6.47-inch full-HD+ OLED screen, and an IP68 certification for ruggedness.

The four rear cameras on the P30 Pro are quite simply astonishing. We were skeptical during the Huawei press conference at which CEO Richard Yu showed us what the P30 Pro was capable of, but its abilities shine through in real-world use.

The Huawei P30 Pro packs in a Kirin 980 chipset and 8GB of RAM, giving the handset plenty of grunt under the hood.

This means the P30 Pro is capable of handling any app you throw at it, with swift load times and the ability to render graphically demanding games such as PUBG on the highest settings without skipping a beat.

It’s not the perfect smartphone such a device will likely never exist but the Huawei P30 Pro gets pretty darn close, and it’s one of the best cameras.

There are small niggles in the look of the interface and the lower-resolution display compared to rivals, but its stand-out cameras, slick performance and premium design make this one of the best flagship smartphones around.

If you’re a fan of what Huawei is doing, but can’t quite stretch your wallet (or your hands) to the P30 Pro, the P30 gives you a decent alternative. We’d still have the Huawei P30 Pro given the choice though. I have been waiting to get my hands on this and finally got to test it out.
