Microsoft has made a few small tweaks to the Windows 10 search function, designed to help users get everyday info that bit quicker Search Home. The new Quick Searches feature in Search Home includes 4 new options like Weather, Top news, Today in history, and New movies. Weather gives users information on current conditions and the upcoming forecast, Top news enables users to read the latest headlines from popular news sites, Today in history allows users to explore four events that happened on this day, and lastly, New movies allows users to find out what’s playing in theatres near them. This is what it looks like now.
Users have to select the search box to open Search Home, then choose one of the quick search buttons in order to preview these web answers and results. This preview build also brings an updated design for web preview in search results.
The new Quick Searches feature is currently rolling out and will appear for users across builds from version 1809 to 20H1 and it is only available in the US for now, but will be available soon globally.
