I compared £20 AirPods knockoffs to the real thing. Here’s what I found out

Someone asked me about buying knockoff AirPod, an off-brand replica.  I’ve tested loads of earbuds before, but they all had different designs none of them were exact AirPod copycats. This time, I truly wanted to compare, well, apples to Apples.

I found a pair AirSounds True Wireless Earbuds and went to purchase them to test out and compare them with the Apple Airpod.

I thought this would be interesting and have always thought if you buy rubbish you buy twice.

I’ve always found Apple’s EarPods have been a good fit and prefer them to the ones inside the box like you would get with a new phone.  So I was shocked to find the AirSounds True Wireless Earbuds also had a similar fit.

Also the AirSounds and AirPods cases are physically identical even hard to tell them apart.

Indoors, if I simply cupped my hand over one ear or the other, the sound would drop out. Even worse, when I ventured outside to go for a run, dropouts became a real problem to the point where I simply can’t recommend these for runners.

This is arguably the single most important aspect of any headphone, and it’s where I expected the AirSounds to fare the worst. I won’t say AirPods are the best-sounding earbuds in the world.  The AirSounds sounded pretty good. Better than I was thinking they would be but not as good as Airpods.

Overall these headphones was good and better than I thought I have had them over a week and still work as good although I don’t think would last as long as Apple’s.  For me the sound quality and not been able to use while walking or running.  Yes you pay alot more for the Apple AirPods but to me its worth it if you can afford them.  But there is some cheaper ones out similar to the Apple AirPods.
