There is also growing evidence that the company will also launch a new smartwatch soon. And sure enough, that watch has just appeared on the FCC website where the agency posts approval requests, complete with images. Normally, companies request that images be hidden but it looks like this was missed.
This pictures from the listing show how to access the FCC label on the device, but does not, unfortunately, confirm whether the device has a touch-sensitive bezel.
Previous reports have suggested that Samsung’s new Galaxy Watch Active 2 will be available in 44mm and 40mm screen sizes with 1.4-inch and 1.2-inch Super AMOLED screens. One of the more interesting new features rumored to be coming with the Galaxy Watch Active 2 is a touch bezel that’ll let you navigate the OS by swiping your finger on the smooth bezel since this device is ditching the rotating bezel found on previous Samsung smartwatches.
There’s no word yet on when the Galaxy Watch Active 2 might be announced, but Samsung’s got a couple of good opportunities coming up.
