Apple Store Battery Replacement Experience

I have been having issues with my iPhone battery went from lasting a day to not even half a day since back from holiday. I created an appointment based on “battery issue”. When I showed up, they spent about 5 minutes troubleshooting, and his diagnostics showed battery at 88% health but battery even on test went from 95% to 60% so agreed a replacement was needed. Said it would take 45 minutes even when busy so left it to get fixed.

I was told if they could not fixed it would offer replacement phone. I hoped the battery would work as I hate having to set phone up and add all the passwords again.

On coming back to the store was greeted with usual friendly welcome and took me to the Genius Bar.

Was told battery in phone was good now and we tested it again while was there to make sure was happy. I was but then was offered the iPhone exchange for my phone to get the latest iPhone and could pay the phone up monthly. Stuck with my phone as holding off getting new one till new iPhone is out.

This is just another reason I like apple when it comes to fixing the phone they always fix them and always great to visit the store or chat to them to resolve any problems. I’ve had issues with other phones no apple and had to send them away and took weeks.
